Wheat Harvest, Day 2

So right now on our farm, as well as across the country, farmers are harvesting hard red winter wheat.  This harvest usually starts down south and works it's way slowly north to end in the Dakotas.  Huge outfits roll into town carrying combines on trailers behind semi-trucks.  Here in Russell, they all park at the sale barn, and it is a sight to see... (photo coming soon)

These big outfits cut wheat for people, but on our farm we do it ourselves.  We don't have multiple combines and big semi trucks with grain trailers... our machinery is a little more conservative...

I spend most of my time on the farm serving as support staff.  Enjoy some video I took during an equipment move...

Last night, Jacob and I got to go help Luke in the harvest field, and it was great family time.  I thought you might all enjoy some of the photos I took while we were working!
